The History Of Superman
Superman was a superhero character which was created by artist Joe Shuster and writer Jerry Siegel in the early 1930s. Superman made his first appearance in the DC comics in the year 1938. Earlier the creators thought of superman as a villain who came to earth from a distant planet in order to conquer earth so that his race could rule over the humans. But the story did not sell out well and the creators had to back off with the story line. Later on they bent it and idolized him as a superhero that came to earth as a messiah of the human race who would save mankind from all the horrors of evil.
The history of superman is a very interesting topic for those who have keen interest in reading superhero comics. At a distant planet named krypton, a scientist Jor-El calculates that the planet is going to explode because of the chain reactions occurring at its core. He tries to explain it to the council but they decline his proposal as they are blinded by the artificial intelligence developed on that planet which was called the brain interactive construct. So Jor-El decides to send his only son to planet earth as a last hope to save the race of the planet Krypton.
Jor-El son's name is Kal-El and when as a baby he arrives on earth, he is adopted by a couple named Martha and Jonathan Kent who have their home in Small Ville. They name the adopted boy as Clark Kent. As Clark grows up on earth, he discovers that he possesses extraordinary superhuman powers like lightening speed, x-ray vision, super strength, laser beam through the eyes and many more. When he completes high school, he moves to the main city named metropolis and there he is appointed as an assistant reporter at the Daily Planet which is the leading newspaper in the city.
In metropolis, Clark form his secret identity of a superhero in blue dress with a red cape and a big 'S' sign on his chest. He calls himself superman and fights all the crime that is going on in the streets of metropolis. With his adventures in the city of metropolis, he also comes across his true identity and learns about his home planet krypton. He discovers that his enemy of all times has also travelled to earth in order to destroy it in a similar way it destroyed his home planet krypton. The mentioned enemy is the brain interactive construct which is an artificial intelligence designed by the people of krypton.
Superman fights this super villain from his home planet and saves the mankind from ultimate destruction from various villains that he comes across through his adventures of saving the human race.
